Pauline Jones.
BSc DC.
With a background that spans science, emergency services, and holistic health, Pauline brings a unique and deeply personal approach to chiropractic care. She began her career in haematology, peering down microscopes in clinical labs — but soon craved a more hands-on, people-focused path. After three years in the emergency services, a neck injury during training left her in debilitating pain. Physiotherapy offered little relief, but a course of chiropractic treatment brought transformative results. That experience changed everything — and sparked a journey that’s now spanned nearly three decades.
Pauline qualified as a chiropractor 28 years ago and has loved the work ever since. Over the years, her practice has expanded to include a broader, more integrated approach to health. She holds a two-year Diploma in Clinical Acupuncture (2013) and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2016. While she initially taught yoga separately, she now blends it into her clinical work for patients who are open to exploring it — helping to support mobility, recovery, and long-term wellbeing.
She has a specialist interest in clinical nutrition and is a proud member of the British Society for Ecological Medicine, currently preparing to undertake their foundation course in nutritional and environmental medicine. Her passion lies in treating the whole person — not just symptoms — and she takes time to understand each patient's unique health picture.
Outside the clinic, Pauline is never far from nature. If there’s a hill or mountain in sight, she’ll be halfway up it before you know it — hiking brings her a deep sense of freedom and energy. She’s also an avid diver, and finds balance through regular yoga and meditation, which help her stay grounded, calm, and physically able to support the people she treats.
Grant Jan Bierling.
BSc DC.
Your Associate Chiropractor, Grant Jan Bierling BSc DC
Grant Jan Bierling BSc DC Registered Chiropractor graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (Bournemouth) in 1996. Grant specialises in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) a comprehensive technique which uses body indicators to help determine skeletal, cranial & neurological malfunctions. Grant combines SOT with neurological & orthopaedic tests to aid his diagnosis & treatment of pain.
Following 4 years working in a Sports Chiropractic Clinic in Winchester, Grant has incorporated his other specialist interest in analysing the biomechanics of the feet & jaw. Great care is given to readdress any imbalances between these areas as normal function is essential to optimise muscle & skeletal function.
Poor foot biomechanics can be the cause of ankle, knee, hip, or back related pain. A drop in the arch (pes planus) causes a rotational stress on the knees, which is transferred into the hips & pelvis. This is equally true of cranial & jaw problems often caused by trauma - difficult births (forceps), physical injuries (a blow to the jaw, whiplash), orthodontics, loss of teeth. The jaw, & bite in particular, should be symmetrical in movement. Any distortion will affect the cranium, muscle balance & normal spine mechanics, including pelvic stability - all affecting how you carry yourself posturally.
It is therefore essential when assessing your neck, back or pelvic related complaint to analyse the posture of your feet alongside cranial motion to determine any effect this has on the rest of your structure. Observing the way you stand can reveal a great deal. Is your structure holding you correctly or incorrectly?
Muscle testing gives us invaluable information as to whether a joint is functioning properly, & more importantly if the problem has been corrected.
Our aim is to help you understand cause & effect, with a way forward to prevent recurrence. With this knowledge comes a more functional life, greater strength and a greater ability to undertake those activities that you may have thought impossible to achieve.

Isla Cox.
BSc (Hons) Dip (Soft Tissue Therapy & Sports Massage, Pilates).
Isla holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Fitness and Personal Training from Southampton Solent University and is qualified in Pilates, sports massage, and soft tissue therapy. This allows her to support clients in improving movement, recovering from injury, and feeling their best.
As a mother of three, Isla understands how challenging it can be to prioritise fitness while balancing family life. This inspired her to specialise in pre- and post-natal training, helping women exercise safely during pregnancy and rebuild strength afterwards.
Her services include deep tissue massage, sports therapy, rehabilitation support, and taping techniques, which can be used to complement chiropractic treatment or as standalone therapies.
For those seeking a more relaxing treatment, hot stone massage can be incorporated. The warmth allows deeper muscle work without the need for intense pressure, while also activating the body’s parasympathetic nervous system (“rest and digest” mode), helping to lower stress levels and promote a calm, restorative state.
